Laminate care
Care
- Sweep, dust, or vacuum with a hard-floor tool. No beater bar.
- Blot spills as they happen. Do not let liquid stand on the joints.
- Damp-mop with a laminate or hard-surface cleaner the mill names (Shaw R2X Hard Surface is the Shaw product). No mop-and-bucket flood, no steam mop, no oil soap, no wax, no citrus or ammonia cleaners.
- Felt pads under furniture. Do not slide appliances across the floor.

Warranty
- Compass is a line, not a household-name mill with one public PDF. Wear and defect terms are printed on the sample and the invoice for that SKU.
- Treat it as laminate: dry grit control, damp mop only, no steam, keep a leftover plank.
- Our one-year labor covers the install we sold. Factory wear is the Compass letter that shipped with the floor.

Artistic Design Studio warrants materials and labor for one year on work we sold and installed. The mill letter above is separate and often longer. We keep the order so a factory claim has a ticket. See the studio warranty.
