Care
- Vacuum often. High-traffic rooms daily if you can; the whole carpet weekly. Use a vacuum with a rotating brush on most cut-pile. Use suction-only on ultra-soft styles such as Shaw Caress.
- Put walk-off mats at outside doors and keep them clean so sand never works into the pile.
- Blot spills immediately with a white cloth. Scrape solids first. Never rub. Work from the outside of the spot in.
- Use a cleaner the mill names (Shaw Total Care / R2X for Shaw; CRI Seal of Approval products for Engineered Floors and Anderson Tuftex).
- Do not use bleach, ammonia, tile cleaner, oven cleaner, or benzoyl peroxide on the fiber.
- Have the carpet professionally cleaned by hot-water extraction on a CRI-approved system. Shaw asks for this at least every 18 months; Engineered Floors and Dream Weaver every 12–18 months; Anderson Tuftex at least every 24 months. Skipping this can void the stain warranty.

Warranty
- Many Dream Weaver carpets carry lifetime stain resistance and lifetime fade resistance on named fibers, with 25-year soil and abrasive-wear terms.
- Pet coverage: PureColor and named SoilShield fibers often include lifetime pet-urine (and on current Pet Warranty sheets, urine, vomit, and feces of indoor cats and dogs). Odor in the pad is not the same claim as a stain on the face.
- Not transferable. Professional hot-water extraction every 12–18 months is part of staying in bounds.
- File through the retailer with the style name, color, pad, and install date. engineeredfloors.com/care-and-maintenance/dreamweaver-carpet.

Artistic Design Studio warrants materials and labor for one year on work we sold and installed. The mill letter above is separate and often longer. We keep the order so a factory claim has a ticket. See the studio warranty.
